Weight Training Exercises to Burn Fat or Cardio Exercise?

www.HugoRivera.net – Weight Training Exercises vs Cardio Exercises to Burn Fat. Become a fan www.facebook.com What is the best exercise for fat loss: weight training exercise or cardiovascular exercise? For fat loss, weight training exercise burns more body fat than cardiovascular exercise. Weight training exercise gives you a metabolic boost for 24-48 hours. The reason for that is because when you perform weight training exercise a lot of damage happens to the muscle fibers, and thus, the body has to spend energy repairing the muscle and making it stronger than before. Traditional cardiovascular exercise, on the other hand, only burns calories throughout the duration of the exercise. Once the activity is done, your metabolism goes back to normal. Because of this, weight training is a better exercise for fat loss since your metabolism is stimulated for much longer. Also, keep in mind that cardiovascular exercise cannot re-shape your body in the way that weight training does. If you are looking to have a tight and fit toned body, weight training is what you need to emphasize. With that said, keep in mind that fat loss is really a function of your diet as well, so if you are not following a diet that puts you in a slightly lower caloric deficit, you won’t be able to lose any body fat. But from the perspective of exercise, weight training beats cardio any time. Conclusion Because with weight training exercise you can: 1) Increase your metabolism for 24-48 hours. 2) Re-shape

Yoga Workout Routine at Home Exercises for Flexibility & Strength

cleancuisineandmore.com I’m a big fan of at-home fitness simply because having a few good workout routines at home, right at your fingertips— that you can do whenever you want—are the ones you’ll most likely really actually do, especially if you don’t have to get dressed and schlep to the gym. Since I’m really into yoga these days I thought I’d share a new at-home yoga workout that incorporates exercises for flexibility and strength. The workout video below is a great 10-minute routine you can do as a circuit training workout (simply repeat the routine 2 or 3 times through) or you can combine it with the workout video from last week. cleancuisineandmore.com Simple Yoga Exercises Can Give You a Younger Looking (and Feeling) Body It probably goes without saying that if you practice yoga regularly you will increase your flexibility. Actually, I think it’s the extreme flexibility of some yoga practitioners that intimidates so many people. But, you don’t need to be a contortionist to do yoga or to improve your flexibility. Yoga is not a competitive sport…it’s all about how much your body can do. A Practical Approach to Yoga and Fitness Although a certain amount of mystery surrounds this ancient method of exercise, if you strip away the chanters and forget about Om and look at yoga for what it’s based on, which is the principles of breathing, stretching and being in tune to all of the ways your body can move, it starts to become an exercise form that is much more

Best Chest Workout Weight Training Exercises

www.LeeHayward.com It’s Lee Hayward here with a complete chest and shoulder weight training workout routine. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t get at least one e-mail from someone asking how they can build a big muscular chest. Well in this video clip I’m going to share one of my all time favourite chest workouts for fast muscle gains. I like to start my chest workouts with a big basic compound power exercise. Usually some form of the bench press. In this video I’m doing the barbell bench press but I’ll sometimes use dumbbells or incline bench presses instead. When doing bench presses make sure to set up properly by expanding your chest, arching your upper back, and pulling your shoulder blades back. This will help to fully activate the chest muscles and place less strain on the shoulder joints. It’s also a good idea to have a spotter with you at all times just in case you need help lifting the barbell off your chest. The next exercise that I like to do is the dumbbell flye. This exercise works the chest in the fully stretched position. I don’t use heavy weights here, but rather I emphasize getting a full stretch in the pecs. I even hold the weights for a second at the bottom position to get a better stretch. You’ll also notice that I only lift the dumbbells about ¾ of the way up. Going all the way up just takes the stress off the chest muscles. In the video I’m doing incline bench flyes. But sometimes I’ll do flat bench flyes, or decline bench flyes to work the chest
