You can get a bit of muscle without a gym. Once you’ve reached a plateau with your body weight, you’ll have to get weights to increase the resistance and the work that your muscle has to do. Your muscles grow proportionally to the amount of weight that you lift! So sorry for the late reply!

hi is it possible to get a bit muscle when you dont go to a gym (since i dont hav the time for it i work alot) but just do exercises at home with weights and push/sit ups n all? I hav the same problem as ‘vezionkiller’ i dont hav any fat at all. .

Hi there, I sent your answer to you in a message.

oh yea, frgot to mention. . i do an average of 200 push ups a day. . so yeaa. .

  13. TheUch1ha says:

hey. . i’ve been doing push ups like, fr years. . and i like, already have chest muscle after doin em. . and the push ups i do is somthin called “aeroplane” (dno why its called tht) where u put ur lower body on a higher platform. .
anyway, to the point, from ur opinion, to enhance my chest muscle, do u think i should stick to push ups or swap to other excercises? coz rite now, theres not much enhancement after doin push ups. . i guess its coz my body’s use to it? i dnooo

  14. Lucifit says:

Well, Since I know very little about you, I can only give you some general advice but maybe it’ll help. If you want to get smaller muscles, and don’t want to increase the fat, just start to steadily decrease the amount of weight you lift. Your muscles grow proportionally to the weight you lift, so if you lift less, you’ll have less muscle mass. Keep doing the cardio to reduce the body fat.

I use to lift somewhat heavy weights but I got too bulky for my height. I just wanna have a muscular body type of a boxer. Do you have any diet and/or exercises for that to make my body leaner and smaller now? Thanks so much

  16. Lucifit says:

No, you don’t need to get any fat first. How much muscle you can develop depends on 1. ) how much weight you lift : the more weight you lift, the more muscle you’ll grow. And, 2. ) your genetics. . . . Go for it!

  17. Vezionkiller says:

Does getting your muscle depend on your fat like if i am really skinny will i get muscle if i worked out or do I have to get a little fat first.

Hi, I’m sending you a personal message to answer your question because it would be too long to post here. Take a look on your message board!

Hi there. . good stuff! Good suggestions about trying to do more every week. As far as the number of times per week, push-ups are just like weight training in that they break down the muscle while doing them. Therefore, it’s a good idea to put as much time in-between the push-up exercises as you would any other strength training exercise. That’s at least 1 day rest before doing it again. . . .

  21. braveheart11 says:

Best way with push ups is to do as many as you possibly can. Work with that figure and add one or two to it every week. So for example, 5 full push ups do 5 for a week, then try 6, then 7 and so on. It’s a good idea to do push ups everyday or every second day.

Do combine them. I would start off with light weights, then push ups then move onto either some heavier weights or another set of lighter weights. Remember, more rep’s with lighter weights is the same as less with heavier weights!

. . thanks for the great vid.

Also need ur help forinfo regarding the number of sets, no of reps and the number of times a week that a young man shd do push ups??

Also if u cud pl guide on how to combine push ups with weight training schedules. Say. . . for example i wonder shd i do push ups the same day that i work my chest or shd i do them on my rest days, or shd i do push ups daily irrespective of what muscle groups i train??
    thanks

  24. Lucifit says:

It depends on where you’re starting from! The closer you are to your goal, the faster it will be. Regardless, just keep plugging at it and you’ll get what you’re looking for.

thanks! how long do you think this will take?
